Hello, dear readers! As we arrived at Week 8, our journey at Adebali Labs reached its zenith. With all our learnings from the past weeks in hand, we dove headfirst into crafting our master implementation. Join me for a concluding recap of this intriguing voyage!

The Grand Strategy 📜⚙️

Deciphering Data with Bedtools: We commenced by untangling our data, dividing the strands into Transcribed (TS) and Non-Transcribed (NTS). Using 'bedtools intersect', a gem in bioinformatics, the process was as efficient as it was elegant.

Formulating Genetic Mathematics: Our core step was translating genetic data into mathematical expressions. Imagine a mathematical representation so apt that it mirrors genetic intricacies!

Navigating with Linear Regression: Our trusty tool, linear regression, gave us the power to extract coefficients for our equations, shedding light on the roles of our mutants, CSB, and XPC.

Strand Stratification: Further disentangling our genetic tapestry, we differentiated the values into respective strands. With this, our mutants – the CSB's TS strand and XPC's NTS strand – revealed themselves as key contributors to our understanding of Transcription-Coupled Repair (TCR) and Global Repair (GR).
